LG has announced the LG Q7, Q7 + and Q7α smartphones as the successors of the LG Q6, Q6 + and Q6α last year. Like its predecessors, the new LG Q7 smartphones also come with the same design and the same specifications. Speaking of the differences, RAM, internal storage and cameras will vary. While the LG Q7 and Q7 + come with Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet color options, the LG Q7α comes only in Moroccan blue.
LG Q7, Q7+, & Q7α Smartphones Are Now Official
It is mentioned that LG Q7 smartphones will be available from the beginning of June. Speaking of the devices, the three devices come with a metal body design and are certified by MIL-STD 810G for its durability. On the front, we’ll see a 5.5-inch FullVision screen with Full HD + resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 18: 9. While the processor is not specifically mentioned, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor with clock speed of 1.5GHz / 1.8GHz.
While the LG Q7 and Q7α come with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, the LG Q7 + has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. All three devices come with support for MicroSD cards to further expand up to 2TB. In terms of camera, the LG Q7 + has a 16MP rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP or 5MP front camera for selfies. When you reach the LG Q7 and Q7α, there will be a 13MP camera on the back with PDAF.
While the LG Q7 comes with an 8MP or 5MP front camera, the LG Q7α will have a 5MP front camera. Only devices with a 5MP front camera will offer a super wide-angle view. The devices run on Android 8.0 Oreo with UU of LG UX at the top. All three devices are backed by a 3,000 mAh battery that supports fast charging. LG Q7 devices are also IP68 certified, which means they are water and dust resistant.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. The LG Q7 + also comes with Quad DAC for Hi-Fi audio. As of now, there is no information about the price or the exact details of availability.

Last month, LG introduced three new low-cost smartphones called LG Q7, Q7 + and Q7α. Today, LG Q7 and Q7 + smartphones are officially launched in South Korea. Both devices will come with FullVision screen that offers Full HD + resolution. Under the hood, the devices are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 14nm octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.8GHz and is coupled with the Adreno 506 GPU.
While the LG Q7 will be available in the Aurora Black and Lavender Violet color options, the LG Q7 + only comes in the Moroccan blue color option. Speaking of the prices, the LG Q7 and Q7 + have a price of KRW 495,000 and KRW 570,000 respectively. As of now, there is no confirmation about the availability of the LG Q7α smartphone.
